Update on deliveries: We have the system in place now so anyone who needs delivery can create an account with us by paying in advance i.e. £100 (cash). Then whatever your total shopping bill will be deducted from your account. (Best way to keep everyone safe). All the receipts will be provided with each delivery so you can keep record as well. In view of the current Corona virus outbreak, Your Village Society committee have reluctantly decided to cancel our meetings next Tuesday 17th March and Tuesday 21st April as a safety precaution. If you know of any non members who were planning to attend please give them this information.

Due to building work at the village hall the Village Society meeting tomorrow, Tuesday 21st January will be held in All Saints’ Church, Haslingfield at 8.00pm.
There is also a change to the advertised speaker and topic, which will now be: Genomic Revolution …. and you! A talk by Jason Skelton, an Advanced Research Assistant at the Wellcome Genome Campus near Hinxton just south of Cambridge. Home to the Sanger Institute, the campus has leading scientists in the fields of genomics and biodata. Read more

Regarding our next production, we will not be putting on a play this May because of extension work at the Village Hall, but look forward to welcoming audiences to our November 2020 show in the newly-extended Hall!
On Saturday 30th November, the Haslingfield Primary School PTFA Christmas Fayre will be taking place at Haslingfield Primary School from 2-4 pm. There will be live music, Santa’s Grotto, refreshments and much much more!!

Tickets for the Haslingfield Little Theatre Panto, Sleeping Beauty by Ben Crocker will be on sale tomorrow morning, Saturday 19 October. Performance dates are 21, 22, 23 November at 7.30 pm at Haslingfield Village Hall, plus matinee performance at 2.30 pm on 23 November.
