Curry & Cabaret will be taking place this Saturday, 30 March at 7.30 pm at Haslingfield Village Hall.
If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, there are still some available at £18 each/2 for £30 until tomorrow, Wednesday, 27 March from the Village Shop or from Hayley on: 07454 984456.
For the first time Haslingfield are joining in the Keep Britain Tidy Great Spring Clean initiative.
We need teams of volunteers to help. As well as litter picking, we plan to ‘clean up’ certain areas within the village, e.g. the playground.
Other suggestions for areas that need attention are very welcome. Teams will be provided with gloves, litter-pickers and bin-bags (supplied by SCDC), a few hi-vis waistcoats will also be available.

Or just come along to the Village Hall from either 9.30 am or 2.30 pm on the 7th April. The Village Hall will be open from 9.30 to 11.00 am and 2.30 to 4.30 pm.
The Keep Britain Tidy Campaign runs an annual nationwide event, The Great British Spring Clean – for the second year running Barrington is taking part. Haslingfield villagers have been invited to join the Barrington team to help clean Barrington Hill on Friday 22nd March.
If anyone from the village want to help out on Friday 22nd March and wants to start the hill clean from Haslingfield please let Mick Norman know and he will bring some picking stuff over from Barrington. Otherwise please meet at the Barrington Village Hall at 09 30 am.

First on: Seven members of the Coding Club at Haslingfield Endowed Primary School have created a historical map of Haslingfield going back 200 years. The map uses a slider bar to switch between dates and places of interest through the years. See and hear from the creators themselves about their research and coding techniques.

There are five routes being considered – we encourage you to read the information provided and give your feedback at www.eastwestrail.co.uk/haveyoursay before the deadline passes on Monday 11th March 2019.
The Parish Council will meet on Monday 11th March at 7pm in the Village Hall. The first 30 mins (maximum) of this meeting will be used to discuss the East West Cambs Rail consultation and to agree the Parish Council’s response. After this item, the agenda reverts to its normal running order.
