Happy Monday, food lovers. The rain may dampen our shoes (!) but you know our favourite food vans will be there to cheer us up! At the Haslingfield Village Hall this week (5-8pm): Thursday (20/5): Kerief Catering with their lovely Caribbean inspired flavours. Friday (21/5): La Biga the sourdough Pizza kings. Saturday (22/5): Apple & Jalapeño are back with their tasty array of burgers. Specials will be announced on the pitch day so keep a look out for that!
Although COVID restrictions are being gradually relaxed, remember Hands, Face, Space if standing in a queue – And as always don’t forget to support our super local businesses including The Little Rose, The Hare and Hounds, La Pergola, and The Moringa Tree.
We are absolutely delighted to announce that we are planning to put on Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves on 25, 26, 27 November 2021 at Haslingfield Village Hall. This is, of course, dependent on prevailing Government Guidelines.
If you’re interested in being involved, the read through of the script is planned for Monday 19 July, with auditions on Monday 26 July at Haslingfield Village Hall. More details nearer the time.
The Haslingfield Parish Council Extraordinary General Meeting will be taking place on Wednesday, 19th May 2021 at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall.

Afternoon all! Sensational food offerings this week at the Haslingfield Village Hall (5-8pm): Thursday (13/5): will be juicy burgers from Steak and Honour , Friday (14/5): real authentic sour dough pizzas from La Biga and on Saturday (15/5): will be the sweet and savoury creations from Bon Crepe.

There will be a Zoom meeting on 12 May 2021 at 7:30pm to discuss the maintenance of Wellhouse Meadow. The meeting is for the villagers to understand what is on the current maintenance schedule for the Wellhouse Meadow, and why; and for the villagers to make suggestions/improvements to the maintenance schedule.

There will be two EWR webinars covering The Shelfords to Cambridge and Harlton to Hauxton sections of the proposed railway. The dates are Monday 10 May, 7pm – 8pm and Tuesday 11 May, 11am – 12pm.

Food revering villagers – This week we have arranged again a number of food vans providing delicious food in the village hall car park on Friday, Saturday AND Sunday from 17:00-20:00. Different cuisines will be catered for from different companies. This Friday 7/5 will be authentic sour-dough Italian pizza from La Biga (every Friday), on Saturday 8/5 will be the popular food creations from the famous team from “La Maison Du Steak” and on Sunday 9/5 will be the the fast walk-up made-to-order service from Nanna Mexico.
