Village carriage works – March and April 2021
Please see the attached letter for details of proposed carriage works in Badcock Road, Chestnut Close, Sidney Gardens and Trinity Close. These will be carried out in March and April 2021.
Trees on the green in Chestnut Close
The Parish Council propose to put two new trees on the green in Chestnut Close. Please see the attached for more information.

Roadmap for Lifting Lockdown
A “roadmap” for easing Covid restrictions in England has been announced by the prime minister.
After the first stage in March, further lifting of the rules will happen if certain conditions are met – such as the vaccine rollout going to plan. The aim is for all restrictions to be lifted, which will happen by 21 June at the earliest.

Picking up after dogs
The Parish Council have become aware that with the increased dog ownership during lockdown our pavements and public/dog walking areas are regularly being fouled and irresponsible owners are not picking up after their dogs.
PLEASE can you consider others and show responsible behaviour when out walking your dogs so we can all enjoy our lovely village. Thank you
Road works Fountain Lane and New Road 1-12 March 2021
Cambridgeshire County Council have informed us they will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing on Fountain Lane and New Road between 1 -12 March. Road closure times are 7:30 – 18:30. The diversion is New Road – Church Street – High Street and vice versa.

New Notice – Repairs to the footpath between Trinity Close & New Road
The Highways Department at the County Council have informed us that the footpath linking New Road with Trinity Close will be closed for repairs between Tuesday 24 and Thursday 26 November.
