This Friday 30th June sees the next Little Rose Pub Quiz, which takes place on the last Friday of every month. Teams of any number, up to a maximum of six, can take part. Cost of entry is only £10 per team with all the entry fees given out as cash prizes. First Question asked at 8pm. Just turn up on the night or book in advance. We can also make up teams from whoever turns up on the night. The quiz now takes place on the last Friday of every month. It’s great fun with a good number of all local teams taking part. There’s 6 rounds covering many topics including a topical quiz round as well as a picture round. The quiz finishes around 10pm with a break halfway through.

Police are Receiving a High Volume of Calls

Police are currently receiving exceptionally high numbers of calls to both 999 and 101. Staff in the contact centres are working incredibly hard to reach the people in most need as soon as possible.  Please only dial 999 in a genuine emergency. The photo is of the brand new patio at the Little Rose Pub, the last pub in Haslingfield. The pub is now open at lunchtimes so pop along and enjoy a coffee, tea, soft drink or something stronger! The Little Rose is very family friendly with food available for all ages so enjoy the summer weather in the lovely garden.

The victims, after communicating via email with the fraudster, will receive a bogus email which purports to be from an established escrow provider (a third party who will keep the payment until the buying and selling parties are both happy with the deal).
