Seven weeks up and running, and we’ve certainly had our highs and lows. Definitely time to say thanks for all the feedback (mainly positive we’re pleased to say), comments and support. “A treasure trove”’, “an Aladdin’s Cave of lovely food”, “we’re lucky to have such a lovely shop in the village” are among some of your comments, which brightens our day and makes all the continued hard work very worthwhile.

Over the first three weekends in May a group of volunteers did a major cutback and clearance of the vegetation along the 60m (120′) of the school boundary in School Lane. The result is the resurrection of part of the concrete pavement which runs all the way from the school to Chestnut Close (apart from the grassy section between the bollards).
Haslingfield Little Owls Pre-school is hoping to re-open in Sept 2013 for children age 2-4 years, having been closed for a few months. We are looking for a Manager and Assistant Manager to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for pre-school children (2-4yrs) in the village and surrounding area – 5 mornings a week.
