The Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Monday 28th May at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. The business will be followed with a talk by Chief Inspector Darren Alderson.

The Village’s Allotment Group, HAGA. on Sunday 13 May from 1pm-3pm has organised the next working party to fill in ruts on perimeter track with rubble and clear remaining rubbish in ditch. All help greatly appreciated. More details are here.
With the local elections almost upon us, it might be fitting to have a look at politics in the village 130 or so years ago.
All of the reported activity seems to have been around the Conservative Party. If the Liberals were active, there is no trace of it in the newspaper cuttings from that time. A Conservative Association was planned in the barn of Willow Farm in November 1885. Read more
