Haslingfield Little Owls Pre-School is planning to re-open in September 2013. Next Tuesday 30th April, we are holding an Open Evening for Prospective Staff. It will be held between 7-9 pm in The Methodist Church, Haslingfield. Read more
Home-Start Royston & South Cambridgeshire are looking for Home Visiting Volunteers. Our volunteers are all parents or grandparents who can give a few hours a week to help families who are finding it difficult to cope.

In order to test the potential interest in a film club for children in the village we are planning to show a children’s film on Saturday 13th April 2013 beginning at 10.00am with the film starting at 10.15am: details below. The next Film Club evening we will be at 7.30pm on Friday 12th April in Haslingfield Methodist Church. Admission is free. Running time c.100 min. Break for tea/coffee and biscuits half way through. The Cambridge Cyclists’ Touring Club (CTC) organise many group cycle rides during the year which occasionally pass through Haslingfield. This Thursday 28th Feb morning the meeting starts at Haslingfield Green:
Thursday 28th Feb: Thursday ride (moderate, 50-60 miles) Meet at 9.30am at Haslingfield Green. Coffee is at Malton Golf Club. Lunch is at Sandy, Gunn’s Cafe. Leader: Edward Elmer (01223 575265).
You don’t have to be a member of CTC to try us out. Non-members should print out and complete a guest entry form and give it to the ride leader at the start of the ride.
