Bridge – Repair Work starts 25 June

Repair work on the bridge on the road between Haslingfield and Barton will commence on Monday 25 June.  The periods when the bridge will be closed to traffic will be kept to a minimum, as far as it is possible, and will be displayed on the signs in advance.  The work is scheduled for completion at the end of November 2012. Cream Tea Time Again!

TICKETS AVAILABLE – The Importance of Being Earnest

Haslingfield Little Theatre will be performing The Importance of Being Earnest tonight, 17 May, tomorrow, 18 May and Saturday 19 May, at 7.45 p.m. at Haslingfield Village Centre. There are still some tickets available from the Village Shop – Haslingfield at £8 each / £5 concessions (no concessions Saturday).

Do come along – it’s a wonderful production!

Here are the results for Haslingfield and The Eversdens:

Thomas Frearson – Conservative – 95 votes
Helen Haugh – Labour – 52 votes
Robin Page – Independent – 516 votes (elected)
Rebecca Ridley – Liberal Democrat – 514 votes
