The application process for children who need a school place in Cambridgeshire or Peterborough for September 2022 has started. Any child transferring from primary school to secondary school next year must apply for a place by 31 October 2021. Children due to start at primary or junior school next September must complete their application by 15 January 2022.

Burglars steal tools from sheds to break into homes. Make sure your shed is securely locked. Shed alarms are available. A simple ‘Window Alert Alarm -batteries included costs £4.74 from the Safety Supply Co’ online today, this could be all it takes to avert a break-in.

(the regular Biga pizza team are taking a hard earned rest and Oreno are here to fill the gap in your bellies!) All cooked and prepared to order. PRE ORDERS ONLY. Saturday (18/9): Pig-Casso’s, the smoked and pulled meat kings! Pre-orders highly recommended to avoid missing out.
The Harvest Service is at 11.00 am on Sunday 19th at All Saints’ Church. Gifts of cereal, tinned meals, coffee and tea are needed for the food bank or bring along flowers to be distributed within the village.
The service is followed by a Harvest lunch in the grounds of the Methodist Church. Bring your own picnic.
Come along and support us to raise money for our village church. Teas and music inside the church – a first chance to hear the internationally renowned Cann twins playing duets on piano. A teddy zip wire for the children – bring your own Teddy for a ride from the church tower or buy one from our stall. Outdoor stalls. Bric a brac, books, toys, plants, produce, a bottle stall and a raffle.

Haslingfield Little Theatre are delighted to be hosting the Festival Player’s Touring Show, Let the Sunshine In – Songs the World needs Right Now at Haslingfield Village Hall on Friday 1 October, 7.30 pm.
The show will comprise: An evening of vibrant and uplifting live music, taken from Broadway and West End musicals including ‘Dear Evan Hansen’, ‘& Juliet’, ‘West Side Story’ and ‘Groundhog Day’.

The Connections Bus Project has been providing youth services in Cambridgeshire for over 25 years but arguable is currently experiencing its toughest period in all that time. However through adaption and perseverance the charity is surviving and hoping to thrive. Please read the attached to read about how they are moving forward.
