There is a vacancy on the Haslingfield Parish Council caused by the resignation of Rebecca Ridley.

A bye-election to fill the vacancy will be held if ten electors for the parish give notice in writing before 23rd November claiming such an election to the Returning Officer. Read more

New Parish Clerk

Following interviews held last week we are pleased to announce that a new Parish Clerk has been appointed from the first of January 2014. Her name is Frances Bishop and she lives at 8A Barton Road, Haslingfield.

All Saints Church Gift Day

The Tennis Club presented “Tea at The Ritz”

Tea at the RitzOn Sunday 22nd September the Tennis Club presented “Tea at The Ritz” in the Village Hall.  The Village Hall was transformed into the Parlour of The Ritz Hotel, and 76 guests enjoyed a 3-course High Tea of sandwiches, scones with jam and cream followed by a huge selection of delicious home baked cakes. Vacancy for a Team Vicar in the Lordsbridge Team

church1Confirmation has been received that a full time Team Vicar vacancy has been approved by the Diocese.  It is anticipated that the post will be advertised at the start of January and that interviews will take place in early March.  There will be an opportunity for members of Haslingfield, Harlton, Barton and Coton churches to meet candidates informally, shortly before these take place.
It is hoped that the new Vicar will take up his/her post during next summer.
