Peter Pan Tickets Available Now!
Tickets are now available for Haslingfield Little Theatre’s next production: Peter Pan – the original play by JM Barrie. Performances will take place at Haslingfield Village Hall on Thursday 24 November, Friday 25 November and Saturday 26 November. Children in the audience are very welcome to dress up as their favourite Peter Pan character.
UPDATE AT 4 NOVEMBER: Matinee tickets are now SOLD OUT, and Friday evening performance – ONE TICKET LEFT in Haslingfield Village Shop. Tickets still available for Thursday and Saturday night performances.

Pub Quiz This Friday 4th Nov
Little Rose Pub
The next Little Rose Pub Quiz will take place this Friday 4th November from 8pm, after the free pub fireworks display. Teams of any number up to a maximum of six can take part, entry is £10 per team with all the entry fees given out as cash prizes. First Question asked at 8pm. Just turn up on the night or book in advance. The quiz takes place on the first Friday of every month. It’s great fun with a good number of all local teams taking part each month. There’s 6 rounds covering many topics including a picture round and it finishes around 10pm with a break halfway through.

Free fireworks for all the family and a free hotdog for all children this Friday 4th November as the village’s last pub celebrates Guy Fawkes night. Fun starts at 6.30pm so just turn up to enjoy the celebration. If you fancy, you can stay on to take part in the Pub Quiz that starts at 8pm.

Lane has its own story to tell. On Tuesday, 18 October at 8:00 PM in Haslingfield Village Hall, Michael Coles, resident archaeologist and historian, relates its tale in Bricks to Build With . Who made those early bricks? Where did they come from? When were they made for this and other buildings in South Cambridgeshire? Bricks are not just bricks you’ll be surprised to learn!
Everyone is always welcome to our meetings. Enjoy a chat at refreshment time. Members and school aged children free, small charge for non-members.

Friday 14th October 2016 at 7.30pm. in the Haslingfield Methodist Church Rooms. Admission is free. The film running time is 120 min., Certificate: PG. We will break for refreshments half way through. The Haslingfield Allotment Gardeners Association (HAGA) is having their quarterly meeting on Monday 26th September 2016 in the Little Rose at 19:30. They have some vacant plots so if you have “green fingers” and want to grow your own produce or just want to know more then please come along.

The pub is also holding a Crib Drive on Thursday 8th September from 8pm. Just turn up on the night to take part. There has been a cribbage team playing from The Little Rose since the early 1960’s. Little Rose Pub
There is free live music this Bank Holiday Saturday 27th August at the Little Rose Pub. Jonny will be singing a range of classic covers from 8pm until late. It’s a great way to enjoy the holiday weekend.
The pub sells a wide range of drinks including real ales, real cider, teas, coffees, lager, spirits and soft drinks. The pub won the Campaign for Real Ale Cambridge and District Branch award for Rural Community Pub of the Year last year. Read more
