Country Kitchen Christmas Cellar is now open for lovely festive giftware. Following the success of our Late night shopping evening on the 7 November, (with complimentary mulled wine, mince pies and sausage rolls) we will be hosting another event in the run-up to Christmas. Our local micro brewery BrewBoard which can be found at Button End, Harston now open up their tap room to members of the public from 5-11pm every Friday. At these events BrewBoard always host one of a selection of Cambridge’s finest food trucks enabling customers to relax at the end of the week with some great food and a pint or two of local craft beer! They are also going to be opening up and showing all the England 6 Nations rugby games over the coming weekends. Keep an eye on their website www.brewboard.co.uk for details of all upcoming events.
This August Bank Holiday Monday 28th August the Village Shop will be open from 8am until 4pm and the Post Office counter will be closed. The rest of the weekend sees the normal opening hours.

The Village Shop and Post Office on Fountain Lane is now selling authentic home made Indian Curry. The type of curry changes each week and therefore the price changes accordingly. It costs between £5-£10. Seriously good local curry!
This Bank Holiday Monday 1st May the Village Shop will be open from 8am until 4pm and the Post Office counter will be closed.
From Tuesday 2nd May the shop will now be open an hour longer every day from Monday to Saturday, this is due to popular demand. These are the new shop opening hours:-

As 2016 draws to a close and we approach our 4th Xmas of trading in Haslingfield, everyone is frantically busy, but we would love to take a moment to thank all you wonderful customers for your support over this past year. The shop continues to go from strength to strength, with new customers still discovering us. It’s been an excellent year for Country Kitchen, and Haslingfield feels like quite a bustling little shopping village with its three pretty and well-stocked shops. The Village shop, on Fountain Lane, is open this Bank Holiday Monday, 29th August, from 8am until 4pm. The post office will be closed on this day. The shop sells newspapers and magazines, a wide range of groceries and confectionery, fresh milk, hot drinks, cold drinks, wines and spirits, greeting cards and stationery, plus ‘bits and pieces’ such as batteries, drawing pins, etc. Fresh bread and cakes are delivered daily from Newnham Bakery and a selection of Hovis ready cut loaves are also available. You can order any type of bakery item. A dry cleaning service from Penguin Cleaners collects and delivers on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Also stock fresh fruit and vegetables, and you can also order whatever fruit & veg you’d like.
Country Kitchen is very happy and proud to have been awarded the ‘Farm Shop / Deli of the year’ in the Cambridge Evening News Food and Drinks Awards 2016.
