The phased starting up of the green waste service began on Monday 4th May.
Under the phased reintroduction of the green waste service, residents are guaranteed one collection
per month but are encouraged to put the green bins out each time the blue recycle bins are due for
collection, in case crews are able to collect more than the scheduled rounds. Collection days for Haslingfield are 14th May, 10th June & 8th July.

With the country continuing to be in lockdown, I am afraid that The Connections Bus Project will continue to be closed and will not be providing youth services to our youth community in Haslingfield during May 2020.

Anglian Water have just rung to tell me that we have a water leak from between the Village Hall and Porkers Lane. It’s a broken pipe that will take a little while to repair but rest assured it is being dealt with.

There is no April Church and Village due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
We are sorry to announce that due to the current government advice the village plant sale has been CANCELLED. Cheques that have been posted through the door will be destroyed. We apologise for the inconvenience and hope we’ll be back with it next year.
The post office is now only open for cash withdrawals, cash deposits (if necessary), bill payments, special deliveries or something very important.
