Sheds & Greenhouses Allowed on the Allotments
The Parish Council has agreed that one shed OR greenhouse could be erected on a garden plot. Max dimensions of either to be a 6 x 4 feet base, which must be of temporary material. In the case of a greenhouse being erected on a plot glazing must be a plastic material NOT GLASS. This Sunday 16th June Haslingfield Colts FC is holding an open morning on the village Rec from 10.30am. The club is looking to recruit new players for it’s Under 14’s team for next season as well as trying to set up an Under 10’s team.

Players Needed for New Under 10 Football
Haslingfield Colts FC is looking to start a new team for next season for youngsters aged Under 10. To play means that you have to be 10 years old or younger on September 1st 2013, or in Year 5 or Year 4 at school from this September. Annual Charity Big Bike Challenge Rides Through Haslingfield
This years ‘Cambridge News Big Bike Ride’ will be returning on June 23 and should provide something for everyone with three routes of differing length – a Bronze 12.5 miles, Silver 62 miles and Gold 100 miles.
The charity ride will start and finish at Netherhall School with the challenging silver ride following a scenic 62-mile route through Fulbourn, Bottisham, Reach, Stretham, Oakington, Toft, Hardwick and Haslingfield before turning back towards Cambridge through Shelford. Read more
Cambridge United ‘flabbergasted’ by opposition to new community stadium

Cambridge United and developers Grosvenor have vowed to fight on with plans for a new community stadium after being “flabbergasted” at their rejection by local authorities.
Cambridge United chairman Dave Doggett has said failure to receive council backing for a proposed stadium is “not the end of the road”. Read more
