Players Needed for New Under 10 Football

Haslingfield Colts FC is looking to start a new team for next season for youngsters aged Under 10. To play means that you have to be 10 years old or younger on September 1st 2013, or in Year 5 or Year 4 at school from this September. Haslingfield School Summer Fayre

The Haslingfield School Summer Fayre will be held on Saturday, 22nd June from 1-4 p.m. Fun and entertainment will include:
Hook a duck, toys & books, ice creams & refreshments
Story corner, pick a lolly and music in the bandstand
Train rides, choc tombola and bottle stall
Cakes, bar-b-q & bar
….and much more.
 
Proceeds to support the school.

Bake House Opening

HLT Poster - May 2013Haslingfield Little Theatre’s May production is Crosswords and Compost – two very funny comic plays by local writer, Nick Warburton. The plays will be performed on 16, 17 and 18 May at 7.45 p.m. in Haslingfield Village Hall.

Cheryl Brightly, a finalist in the Academy of Chocolatiers International Competition, will talk about the history of chocolate, how it is grown, made, and processed. A demonstration with cocoa pods will be given, and a sample from an Aztec recipe made.  Some samples will be brought along! Read more
