Free! Bring your own bread or scone dough. Coffee, tea and beverages will be available. This is traditionally a happy, very social occasion with people sharing if so inclined. This Friday 26th May sees the next Little Rose Pub Quiz, which takes place on the last Friday of every month. Start the Bank Holiday weekend by testing your knowledge. Teams of any number, up to a maximum of six, can take part. Cost of entry is only £10 per team with all the entry fees given out as cash prizes. First Question asked at 8pm. Just turn up on the night or book in advance. We can also make up teams from whoever turns up on the night. The quiz now takes place on the last Friday of every month so next month’s quiz will be on Friday 30th June. It’s great fun with a good number of all local teams taking part. There’s 6 rounds covering many topics including a topical quiz round as well as a picture round. The quiz finishes around 10pm with a break halfway through.
The police will be here in Haslingfield during the day, officers will be patrolling key areas of the village to increase awareness of security, and promote the event in the village hall between 5pm – 8pm.

Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is our local independent charity working with, and for, older people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Their objectives are to help older people to maintain their independence, health and wellbeing by providing services that meet their individual needs.

From Tuesday 2nd May the shop will now be open an hour longer every day from Monday to Saturday, this is due to popular demand. These are the new shop opening hours:-
Mondays to Fridays: 7.00 am – 8.00 pm
Saturdays: 8.00 am – 7.00 pm

The second annual Little Rose Beer Festival starts this Friday 28th April and continues right the way thro until Bank Holiday Monday 1st May. The best way to start the day is on an egg, according to some! This weekend, on Easter Sunday, a full breakfast is available from 8am until 9.15am at the Methodist Church with an Easter Egg Hunt starting at 9am. All the money raised will go to the East Africa Crisis Appeal.
