Hare and Hounds – Pop Up Pub
For all Haslingfield residents who are interested in the Hare and Hounds Community Pub proposal, the steering committee is organising a “POP UP PUB” event. They would love you to join them on:
Friday 9th December in the Harlton Village Hall. Doors open at 6.00 pm until 11.00 pm.
You will be able to purchase beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks. Play some traditional pub games and there will be entertainment from a local musician. Hear the latest progress on the bid to buy the Hare and Hounds pub.

Haslingfield Allotment Gardeners Association (HAGA) – AGM
The Haslingfield Allotment Gardeners Association (HAGA) is having their annual general meeting (AGM) on Monday 5th December in the Little Rose at 19:30. They have some vacant plots so if you have some spare time and want either a plot or get involved then just come along.

There will be a meeting on Monday 5th December at 7.30pm, in Harlton Village Hall, to seek approval from the pledgers for the bid the committee plans to submit on Tuesday 6th December and to provide an update on progress to date. For more information please click here.

Haslingfield Allotment Gardeners Association
The Haslingfield Allotment Gardeners Association (HAGA) is having some vacant plots on the site between Haslingfield and Harston so if you have “green fingers” and want to grow your own produce or just want to know more then please contact the secretary Jon Spain by email jrspain1@hotmail.com or telephone 01763 262007. Annual rent for a full size plot is £15 and it is open to Haslingfield residents and residents of surrounding villages. We have both full size and half size plots available.

A Community Governance Review for the Parish of Haslingfield

The South Cambridgeshire District Council is undertaking a community governance review of the parish of Haslingfield because the new housing development at Trumpington Meadows will alter the geographical spread of housing across the parish. The resulting spatial separation between the two population centres will no longer correspond to a parish boundary that reflects a natural settlement pattern. So Have your say or comment in the Haslingfield Parish community governance review. Consultation will close on 14th November.

A Community Governance Review for the Parish of Haslingfield

The South Cambridgeshire District Council is undertaking a community governance review of the parish of Haslingfield because the new housing development at Trumpington Meadows will alter the geographical spread of housing across the parish. Haslingfield Art and Craft Workshop
From September, Haslingfield children’s art workshop is changing. I have been running the regular art workshop on a Thursday after school for eight years and now feel it is time for a change. In that time many children have made some wonderful crafts and I have really enjoyed being part of their creativity. I will still be organising workshops in the school holidays throughout the year so I will not be finishing completely. Do YOU Want to be a Parish Councillor?
Do YOU want to make a real difference and get involved in the important issues in the village such as environment, playground and skatepark, speeding on Barton road, parking near the school, buildings and planning regulation then become a Haslingfield Parish Councillor.
The Haslingfield Parish Council meets on the second Monday of each month in the Village Hall. If you are interested in becoming involved with running the parish and contributing to decision making which affects your village please contact the Parish Clerk, Frances Laville on 01223 264360 or email: haslingfieldparishclerk@gmail.com or attend one of the monthly meetings and get a feeling as to what is involved.
With little time spent you can make a real difference and make your village a better place to live and work!
