Food vans in the village this week

National Highways plan to carry out essential maintenance work to the filter drains on the M11 in both directions between junctions 10 and 13. Once complete, the road will be able to better disperse surface water.
They plan to complete this work over 5 weeks between Friday 22 April and Monday 30 May, working between 9pm and 6am, on both weeknights and weekends, weather conditions permitting. No work will be carried out on Monday 2 May (May Day Bank Holiday). Cambridgeshire County Council will be closing New Road, Haslingfield as lies between numbers 92 and 105 between 3 and 5 May 2022. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via Church Street – High Street – Fountain Lane and vice versa. The Order is made to facilitate new water supply works which are being carried out on or near this highway.

Yes… we welcome John and his specialist fish crew… traditional fish n chips or a variation twist that will be sure to delight.
