Haslingfield & Harlton Youth Club Bus Project – News

connectionsHaslingfield and Harlton Parish Councils  have now taken over all responsibilities for ‘The Connections Youth Bus’, to ensure that our young people continue to benefit from this very valuable facility.

If you have children (year 7 onwards) please encourage them to come along to Haslingfield Village Hall Car Park on a Wednesday after school (16.00 to 18.00) to enjoy the benefits accruing from the commitment of our Parish Council. School Lane – Back Lane Footpath: Major Cutback and Clearance

Over the first three weekends in May a group of volunteers did a major cutback and clearance of the vegetation along the 60m (120′) of the school boundary in School Lane. The result is the resurrection of part of the concrete pavement which runs all the way from the school to Chestnut Close (apart from the grassy section between the bollards).

Haslingfield School Summer Fayre

The Haslingfield School Summer Fayre will be held on Saturday, 22nd June from 1-4 p.m. Fun and entertainment will include:
Hook a duck, toys & books, ice creams & refreshments
Story corner, pick a lolly and music in the bandstand
Train rides, choc tombola and bottle stall
Cakes, bar-b-q & bar
….and much more.
 
Proceeds to support the school.
 

Tickets Now Available for Crosswords and Compost

HLT Poster - May 2013Haslingfield Little Theatre’s May production is Crosswords and Compost – two very funny comic plays by local writer, Nick Warburton. The plays will be performed on 16, 17 and 18 May at 7.45 p.m. in Haslingfield Village Hall.

: £8 per person (£5 concessions – no concessions on Saturday), to include light refreshments in the interval.
