New Shop Owners Start this Monday
The new owners of the Village Shop take charge from this Monday 16th November. Conrad Golding and Carol have run the Village Shop for the last 9 years and this Sunday will be their last day. The shop will be closed on Monday morning and should open sometime Monday afternoon after the Post Office has carried out an audit. Mr & Mrs Godhaniya are the new owners, and they’re moving down from Leicester to run the shop. They’re looking for somewhere to live locally. They contacted this website recently asking for villagers to post any thoughts they have about how the shop can be improved in what it sells, services it offers and opening times. They’ve also promised to increase the opening hours of shop and post office as well as increasing its stock levels. They say they’re really happy that they are the new owners of Haslingfield Village Shop. They’ve already been to the Village many times, including popping into the Little Rose pub to meet Neil and Sue, the landlords. They’re still looking for suggestions for improving the shop to help them provide better services. You can do this either by adding a comment below or on the Village Facebook page.

Hello and welcome to Haslingfield! I would really like it if the shop could stock stationary (especially paper and envelopes) and plastic cups, paper plates, napkins etc. Oh and lots of biscuits!
