Did I miss a consultation with residents on the upcoming traffic-calming measures? I do not believe that the proposed buffer zones will have any effect on speeding motorists. Those who choose not to observe the limits within the village are unlikely to be persuaded by a buffer zone. (A similar scheme has been running in Grantchester for a couple of years now, to no effect.) If this is being funded by our precept, I would have preferred a refund!
