Adding Your Own Events to the Website Calendar

If you are aware of an event going on in Village and the surrounding area or which may be of interest to some villagers but can’t see it in the calendar, then you can now add it yourself.  Maybe you are involved in the event, or you’ve seen it on a poster or in Church and Village and would like people to know about it. Here’s what you do.Select the Calendar menu and click “add your own events”. Fill in the form and its as simple as that. An email will be generated and sent to someone in the web site group who will review the event and put it in the calendar. Your identity will not be published on the site (unless you want it to be) . If you would like to add more information about the event then just send a follow up email to someone in the web site group. If the event is coming up in the next few days it will also appear in the WHAT’S ON panel.

Similarly if you see an event in the calendar that is wrong in some way please let us know in the same way.
