We are absolutely delighted that the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) East District 4S have awarded Haslingfield Little Theatre Best Technical Achievement for Set and Costumes during 2015 for our November 2015 panto, Mother Goose.

Parish Council elections are due to be held on Thursday 5th May 2016. There are 11 seats available.

The Notice of Election will be posted on the Parish Council noticeboards on Wednesday 30th March. Nominations must be hand delivered to South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne Business Park, Cambourne CB23 6EA by 4 pm on Thursday 7th April 2016.

The next Little Rose Pub Quiz will take place this Friday 1st April. Teams of any number up to a maximum of six can take part, entry is £10 per team with all the entry fees given out as cash prizes. First Question asked at 8pm. Just turn up on the night or book in advance. The quiz takes place on the first Friday of every month. Last month we had 7 teams take part.
So it appears some Godless vandals have only gone and repaired the ramps!! Have people not got anything better to do with their time than to go round fixing things? This is according to Heiz Vibezin who’s put an article on the village facebook page. There’s new support struts, giving better strength than before, new ply deck and a new lick of paint. Hooligans i tell ya!

The Village Shop is closed all day Easter Sunday but is open the usual hours on Good Friday (7am until 7pm), Easter Saturday (8am until 6pm) and Easter Monday (7am until 7pm). The post office is closed on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday (as usual) and Easter Monday. The post office will reopen on Tuesday 29th March (9am until 5.30pm).
