Over the past couple of weeks new bus stop signs (commonly called flags) have been put in place in three of our local villages, Haslingfield, Harlton and Stapleford. The flags and timetables have been neglected for many years, several disappeared during the recent street lighting upgrade, and more went when Whippet Coaches lost the contracts for the 31 and 75 bus routes. Further improvements to the remaining signs are in the pipeline, including better timetables which are less susceptible to fading.Read more
