We are fortunate to live in such a caring community. The money will be put to good use by all the charities.

18 National and Local charities will have stalls selling a variety of items – candles, produce, books, gifts, Christmas Cards etc. You will also have the chance to win a hand-made quilt. A special visitor will be MEG, a Guide Dog for the Blind, who has changed her owner’s life! Delicious home-made refreshments will be available throughout the event. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

Film running time 95min, Certificate U. There will be subtitles for the hard of hearing and a break for refreshments halfway through. To avoid having a fixed charge for each evening we have opted (for copyright reasons) not to advertise details of the films publicly. As an alternative we ask for a donation from those attending to cover the cost of the film, tea, ground coffee, biscuits and use of the room. Music in Quiet Places returns to Haslingfield Church on Saturday 25 October presenting K’antu Ensemble, celebrating the 450th anniversay of Shakespeare’s birth with a delightful programme of songs and dances evoking the the spirit of Elizabethan and Jacobean England ……..

The ‘Flu Clinic will take place on Thursday 23rd October from 2.15pm to 3.00pm at Haslingfield Methodist Church.
All are welcome to the licensing of the Reverend Rebecca Gilbert as Team Vicar in the Lordsbridge Team Ministry. The licensing will take place in the Parish Church on Monday 20th October2014 at 7.30 pm. A reception will be held afterwards in the Village Hall. Do come to meet and greet Rebecca.

On the evening of Sunday 12th October at 6.30pm we will be pleased to welcome at the Methodist Church our guest speaker Baroness Kathleen Richardson and her title is ‘Is there a Christian case for assisted dying?’ She will talk about the bill on this topic currently being discussed in the House of Lords.
