Little Theatre Update

We are about to start rehearsals for our May Production, Alan Ayckbourn’s hilarious comedy, Bedroom Farce, which we are performing on 19, 20 & 21 May at Haslingfield Village Hall.

Little Theatre Announces Spring Production!

We are delighted to announce that our next show is planned for 19, 20 & 21 May. It is Bedroom Farce, the hilarious comedy by Alan Ayckbourn, so do please save the date!

And, if you’re interested in being involved, the Read-Through will take place this coming Monday, 24 January, with auditions following on Thursday 27 January – both at Haslingfield Village Hall, at 7.30 pm. Rehearsals will start on 28 February and will take place on Monday and Thursday evenings at Haslingfield Village Hall.

TICKETS ON SALE: Little Theatre Panto – Ali Baba & the Forty Thieves

Tickets are now on sale for the Haslingfield Little Theatre panto – Ali Baba & the Forty Thieves, which is being performed on 25, 26 and 27 November at 7.30 pm at Haslingfield Village Hall, with a matinee performance on 27 November at 2.00 pm. You can buy your tickets at £10/£8 concessions (under 18s/65+, excluding Saturday night’s performance) at: www.haslingfieldlittletheatre.co.uk.

Please note, there will be increased ventilation in the Village Hall and audience members are requested to wear masks – thank you.

Haslingfield Choir and Orchestra Concert: All Saints’ Church – Saturday 16th October

On Saturday 16th October at 3pm, Haslingfield Choir and Orchestra will be performing at All Saints’ Church, Haslingfield. The concert will include the World Premier of ‘Haslingfield Tapestry’ by Alex Paxton and will feature a combined children’s choir from Haslingfield and surrounding villages. 
 
Admission will be by ticket only, available at Haslingfield village shop.

All Saints’ Church Mini Fete Saturday 18th September: 2pm to 4.30pm

Come along and support us to raise money for our village church.
Teas and music inside the church – a first chance to hear the internationally renowned Cann twins playing duets on piano. 
A teddy zip wire for the children – bring your own Teddy for a ride from the church tower or buy one from our stall.
Outdoor stalls. Bric a brac, books, toys, plants, produce, a bottle stall and a raffle.
PS. Claire, our new vicar, is one of the Cann twins

Festival Players Touring Show comes to Haslingfield Village Hall

Haslingfield Little Theatre are delighted to be hosting the Festival Player’s Touring Show, Let the Sunshine In – Songs the World needs Right Now at Haslingfield Village Hall on Friday 1 October, 7.30 pm

The show will comprise: An evening of vibrant and uplifting live music, taken from Broadway and West End musicals including ‘Dear Evan Hansen’, ‘& Juliet’, ‘West Side Story’ and ‘Groundhog Day’.

You are welcome to bring your own refreshments and glasses (no bar). 

NB There will be reduced capacity in the Hall, increased ventilation and mask-wearing is requested, if possible.

Art for Wellbeing Class starting in September at Haslingfield Village Hall

Art for Wellbeing is a new informal art class aimed at beginners /intermediates who would like to draw and paint, using different techniques and materials, for enjoyment and relaxation. It will be taught by a qualified art teacher with 30 years’ experience.

  • Venue: Haslingfield Village Hall
  • When: Tuesday mornings 10:15-12:15 and Thursday mornings 10:30 -12:30 
  • Starting: 28th and 30th September, 10 week course.
  • Cost: £90 per person.
