Burglary In Harlton Yesterday Morning
There was a burglary between 07:30 – 14:15 :21 January 2013 at Haslingfield Road, Harlton, Cambs. Cash and jewellery were taken. Read more
Haslingfield and Harlton Community Transport
Around 20 drivers assist about 25 residents to get to medical appointments, under a variety of County Council / Care Network supported schemes. Read more
Haslingfield Bus Transport Meeting

This meeting is being held for Haslingfield residents to express their needs for the future regarding bus transport, as the County Council has voted to stop subsidising our route (amongst many), and to offer alternatives. Read more

Haslingfield Diamond Wood Tree Planting Event
Saturday 17th November from 10am to 12pm. Come along and plant a tree with us! As part of the Woodland Trust’s Jubilee Woods Project the Trumpington Estate is creating a new area of woodland in Haslingfield. Trumpington Farm Company – Farm Walk
13 October 2012, 10:00 – 12:00, Cantelupe Farm
The ‘walk’ will take the form of a tractor and trailer ride around Cantelupe Farm and Trumpington Fen showing the latest developments on the Estate, discussing crops, wildlife and farming methods with the David Knott, the General Manager, and Richard Pemberton. Over The Hedge – news from Trumpington Farm Company, Cantelupe Farm
Much has changed at Trumpington Farm Company in the last year. Firstly after nine years as Farm Manager for TFC Andrew Crossley has moved to the team at Thurlow Estate near Haverhill. In 2007 the operational running of TFC passed to Richard Pemberton from his father Antony, who continues to manage the Peterborough operations. In November, Richard welcomed David Knott to the team, who brings his wife Sue and family from Lincolnshire. As the new General Estate Manager, David is responsible not only for farming matters, but also wider estate issues. Read more
Music in Quiet Places

Music in Quiet Places, a new and popular concert series, returns to All Saints’ Church this autumn. A young contemporary folk group, Tir Eolas will play inspired arrangements of traditional material including Irish, Swedish, Breton, Canadian, as well as their own lively folk-influenced pieces. The band is percussionist Ruairi Glasheen on bodhran, Pip Mercer on vocals and flute, guitarist Laura Snowden and violist Georgie Harris.

Travellers on the Rec
Now it is illegal to squat and it has become a criminal offence to do so, perhaps the law makers will make entry onto private land a similar offence. Heaven only knows how much it costs nationwide to evict these people and clear up the mess and filth many of them leave. Come on Mr Page, start the ball rolling in the Sunday Telegraph.
