Haslingfield’s First Repair Café

We’re delighted that, with help from the Parish Council, Haslingfield & Harlton Eco Group will hold its first Repair Café on February 18th, in Haslingfield Village Hall.

Repair Cafes are community events that match people who need stuff fixed with people who like fixing things. Local, experienced, volunteer repairers repair all sorts of household items such as kettles, toasters, lamps, laptops, clothes, toys, bikes and more. All repairs are free, although donations are welcome to cover costs and support the growing repair café network.

The Cambridgeshire Repair Cafe Network is run by Cambridge Carbon Footprint, who are always keen to make new contacts, so get in touch with them via https://cambridgecarbonfootprint.org/repair-cafes/ if you’re interested in helping people to get things fixed!

And put Sunday, Feb 18th in your diary if you want to come along for a cuppa or bring something to be repaired. For more information, to volunteer as a repairer or general help, or to inquire about the café, please contact HnHeco@gmail.com.
