On Tuesday 21 February at 8.00pm in Haslingfield Village Hall, Haslingfield Village Society will be hosting: Icy Journeys – a talk by Nicholas Branson
Everyone is very welcome.

The talk will describe a visit Nicholas made to Svalbard in summer, sailing around Spitsbergen and encountering the wildlife of the area including Polar Bears and alpine flowers, all surviving under the harshest of conditions.
The talk will also describe a visit Nicholas made to Hokkaido in northern Japan in winter to see some of the wildlife surviving at temperatures of well below freezing, including the great eagles of the north feeding along the edge of the pack ice between Hokkaido and the Kuril Islands.
