Rehearsed Play Reading: Travels with my Aunt – 6 March

Haslingfield Little Theatre would like to invite you to a Rehearsed Play Reading of Travels with my Aunt by Graham Greene, adapted for the stage by Giles Havergal. It will take place from 7.30 pm on Friday 6 March at Haslingfield Village Hall.

The play concerns Henry Pulling who meets his long-lost aunt at his mother’s funeral, but has no idea of the whirlwind of exotic adventures that lie ahead of him.

“A miracle of lightness and wit…” The Guardian

The actors will be seated whilst reading the play and there will be lighting, sound effects and the use of props to add to the atmosphere.

There will be cabaret-style tables for everyone to relax around, and the audience are invited to bring their own refreshments. Entrance will be free and there will be a plate at the door for people to give what they feel is appropriate for the night’s entertainment.

(NB The play contains strong language and themes of a sexual nature and is not suitable for children).

It promises to be a great evening so hope you are able to come along!
