COMING UP SOON – Little Theatre Show at Haslingfield Village Hall!
On 14, 15 & 16 May, our local award-winning community theatre group, Haslingfield Little Theatre, will be putting on two one-act comic plays at Haslingfield Village Hall at 7.30 pm: The Real Inspector Hound by Tom Stoppard and Trapped! by Michael Green.
There are still some tickets left at £15 each (£12 concessions for under 18s/65+, Thurs/Fri only). Tickets can be bought here.
The Real Inspector Hound by Tom Stoppard
A funny and thought-provoking play parodying Agatha Christie-style murder mysteries, the play focuses on two pretentious theatre critics, Birdboot and Moon, as they observe a fictional whodunnit. Their commentary blurs with the unfolding drama, as they get unintentionally drawn into the mystery themselves!
Trapped by Michael Green:
A hilarious send-up of a country house thriller, the play takes place in the 1940s in the traditional home of Major and Mrs Thompson. A play within a play, the cast try their best to put on a successful show – it’s just that everything keeps going wrong!
Haslingfield Little Theatre has been entertaining local audiences for 37 years. In 2000, they became a charity, with the objective to do their utmost to encourage and develop performing arts in Haslingfield and the surrounding area.
