A SPELL OF REST – SUMMER EVENING MUSIC AT ALL SAINTS’ HASLINGFIELD
Rest, time, truth and beauty are the themes of a short summer concert series led by Haslingfield musicians, hosted by All Saints’ Church, Haslingfield, CB23 1JF. The first concert is on Sunday 1st June. Doors open at 5.30 pm. Concert starts at 6 pm. Le Mouton Noir will sing choral music, ranging from William Byrd to Vaughan Williams, exploring themes of time, truth, beauty and pleasure.
Tickets are on sale here and at Haslingfield Village Shop: £10 adults/£5 children (under 5s free).
And for fun, and good company, we’ve added a coffee morning on the Saturday before on 31st May. Please drop in for coffee, cake and conversation between 10am and midday.
The concert will raise money for All Saints’ Church, Haslingfield, and for United Haslingfield Charities and is in memory of John Offord.
Further concerts will take place on 5th July and 3rd August – more details nearer the time.
