The Village Society’s New Year’s Walk will start at the Village Hall at 11.0 a.m. on January 1st!
It will be again led by Clive Blower.
Everyone is welcome – sandwiches and soup will be provided at the end.

Hi Clive,
I see you are doing a New Year’s day walk in Haslingfield ( 1 Jan 2023).
I am, bit by bit, putting together a talk on clunch – the building stone.
I gather there is a clunch pit in the village and so I am asking if the walk might be going there and if I may attend.
I live in Chesterton and run Chesterton Local History Group.
And do you have any information on clunch in you village archives.

Please come along, and bring your friends, children, dogs (on leads). We will be walking somewhere around the village for about 1 hour. Suitable for most people, please weaer sensible shoes for walking! Might be a little bit muddy/wet
