Haslingfield Bus Transport Meeting
Haslingfield Village Hall, Wednesday January 16th 7.30pm
This meeting is being held for Haslingfield residents to express their needs for the future regarding bus transport, as the County Council has voted to stop subsidising our route (amongst many), and to offer alternatives.
The point of the meeting is to start assessing local need, in order for our Parish council to take an informed lead on future provision, possibly with other nearby parish councils.
The possible future use of minibuses has no connection with the village car schemes operated by voluntary sections such as Haslingfield and Harlton Community Transport. When future provision is decided, but only then, organisations will be selected from a bidding process to provide services.
