Country Kitchen now open!
The Country Kitchen opened its doors last weekend and welcomes you to drop by and take a look at it’s offerings. The store would like to thank everyone who has already popped in to say hello and are encouraged by all the positive comments and feedback.
This week will see some exciting initiatives launched:
‘Meal in a bag‘ – These include some of their favourite recipes, with much of the hard work and preparation being done at the shop. You will buy the recipe and all the ingredients needed to prepare simple and delicious food for your supper. Great for those evenings when you’ve simply run out of food and / or ideas on what to cook. This week they are offering :
– roasted red pepper and bacon sauce pasta
– lamb casserole in a mint, honey and lemon jus
– vegetarian spinach and tomato pasta
‘The Snaffle‘ – each time you spend £10 in the shop, you’re given a ticket to pop into the ‘snaffle’ and this is drawn at the end of the month, with the winner receiving a £15 Country Kitchen voucher!
Watch this space for ‘create your own pizza‘ (buy a frozen pizza base and choose fresh fillings from the deli counter so that you’re able to go home and cook your favourite pizza in just 15 minutes).
Fresh meat – Barkers at Shelford are supplying the store with fresh meat and their homemade pies. If there are any specific cuts of meat you require, you are welcome to order these in.
