Charity Race Night at the Pub

A Race night in aid of McMillan Cancer Charity is being held at the Little Rose Pub this Saturday 11th April. The first race is at 8pm and you can place bets of 50p on any horse. As it’s video racing, then there’s no need to worry about the horse’s form, jockey, trainer or anything else as it’s mostly pot luck.
All money raised will go to McMillan Cancer Charity.

The Little Rose. Thanks to Neil and Sue Poole for running the race night in aid of McMillan cancer charity. A good night and for such a worthy cause raising almost £500. Just think how much more they could have raised if it had been better supported particularly by the people that actually live in the village. Such a shame!
