Bank Holiday Monday, 8 May: Haslingfield Community Share Fair & Family Play Centre – Village Hall & Rec

Shared lunch at Noon – stalls open 1 -4 pm:

Shared lunch at Noon – The Eco Group will be sharing some homemade planet-friendly dishes and treats with everyone. If you can, please bring a dish to share. Please list ingredients due to allergens – or share the whole recipe on a card people can take a picture of!

Shared Play in our Family Play Centre Tent – Planet and pocket-friendly activities for all ages; plus storytelling, traditional games from the PTFA and more.

Repair Cafe Taster – Our first dip of the toe into running our own repair cafe at some point! If you have clothes, textiles or household items that need mending bring them along (no electrical items). You can learn about your damaged or broken item as a volunteer fixes it while you watch how it’s done! If it needs a repair beyond our abilities we will refer you to a local repair business or provide advice on how to recycle or dispose of it.

Stories of Haslingfield – Join local authors Ruth Hatfield and Melissa Fu to make your mark on their map of Haslingfield with your own stories of our village. Share your seeds of a story and see what others have said about the place we call home. All contributors will be entered into a raffle to win a book by one of our authors, including third author Joe Wilson!

Paint a Rock to add to our village painted rock trail!

This echoes June 1953 with the crronation of the late Queen. At the time the vilage did what it could. Well appreciated all round. My parents involved in the activities,
particularly a special party for the schoolchildren.
Sharing and participating in certain events for wider benefit is timeless. I take the
opportunity to repeat the invitation for the second weekend of June to join the c
Franco-British quiz for cancer research. Plus the opportunity to visit and see some
world reputed sites. The website already has basic information. Access not
    complicated.
