M11 night closures 22 April to 30 May 2022
National Highways plan to carry out essential maintenance work to the filter drains on the M11 in both directions between junctions 10 and 13. Once complete, the road will be able to better disperse surface water.
They plan to complete this work over 5 weeks between Friday 22 April and Monday 30 May, working between 9pm and 6am, on both weeknights and weekends, weather conditions permitting. No work will be carried out on Monday 2 May (May Day Bank Holiday). To carry out this work safely, they will need to close the M11 between junction 10 and 13 at various times and divert traffic, as detailed in the table below:

The sliproad at Junction 8 Southbound is closed. There is information for junctions 10 to 13 but nothing about junction 8! How long will this last? There must be some plan of when and how long this closure will take. It would help to be able to find this out. Lots of people would wish to have this information as it’s the exit for the airport.

It also says on slip road from A603 to M11 road closed weekend 21 st May north bound is this right as can’t see that mentioned

Its bad enough ,all the closures, but, when jinctions 11 to 10 south were closed, we were driving North and there was no sign of any work being done or EVER been done. On top of all this, the diversion signs are totally useless and disgraceful, it would help if these signs made sense and were put out better, well put out would be an improvement
