This is a public webinar run by the East West Rail allowing the public to share their views on the section from Harlton to Hauxton.It is one of a series of webinars held by EWR Co. during its current consultation, but it is one of the most relevant to Haslingfield. The latest EWR Co. proposals are probably the most significant planning issue to hit the area for a long time and could have a profound effect on the village. This webinar is an important opportunity for the people of Haslingfield to share their views directly with EWR Co. and find out more about their thinking. Amongst many very concerning issues are:
Why they are proposing such high embankments
A definitive statement on which roads they propose to sever
Whether they could tunnel under Chapel and Money Hill rather than proposing a deep cutting
The impact on the MRAO and the Wimpole Barbastelle bats etc.
