FILM CLUB

Film Club will meet on Friday 6th December at 7.30pm, with MINCE PIES etc.  We shall meet in Haslingfield Methodist Church Rooms.  Admission is free. 

Film running time 110min; certificate:PG (Mild bad language, brief scary scenes); ‘Hard of Hearing’ subtitles will be used.  We break for tea, coffee and biscuits half way through.

 To avoid having a fixed charge for the evening we have opted (for copyright reasons) not to advertise details of the films on notice boards. on the web site or in the Church and Village Magazine.   As an alternative we ask for a voluntary donation of from £3 each to cover cost of refreshments and use of the premises.   Please invite friends and let me know if there are others who would like to be included on the email list. 

 A selected IMdb review

A classic tale that defines the essential soul of modern Christmas.  The picture and stages that depict the era of the 1840’s is well done and provide an inviting warmth for the Christmas season.  I will be sure to be watching this 2017 film a few more times over the passing decades.
