New Date for Pub Quiz

The next Little Rose Pub Quiz will now take place on Friday 5th June because of a private event this Friday. Teams of any number up to a maximum of six can take part, entry is £10 per team with all the entry fees given out as cash prizes. First Question asked at 8pm. Just turn up on the night or book in advance.

The pub has recently won the Campaign for Real Ale Cambridge and District Branch award for Rural Community Pub of the Year. Also, any village club, society or group are welcome to use the newly decorated Lounge bar for meetings or get togethers for free. Simply turn up when the pub is open and make yourself at home.
The pub sells a wide range of drinks including real ales, real cider, teas, coffees, lager, spirits and soft drinks alongside food and welcomes families with children of any age with special children’s drinks. It also sells a wide range of food including Children’s meals for just £3-00.

On the 28th of this month the quiz I put together for cancer research in Toulouse exceeded expectations. A warm, bright evening shared by French
and British teams enjoying hospitality, and a variety of questions, on the lawn of a local chateau vineyard. No language difficulties- all in French and English. Looking ahead a Little Rose team would be made most
welcome. Perhaps local businesses dealing with France and Europe
could help with sponsorship? Travel from Stansted to Rodez. Transfers
and accommodation easily organised here.
