An SOS has gone out to find volunteers to be part of the Age UK Cambridgeshire Visiting Scheme; which offers support to people who are lonely & isolated in later life. Volunteers play an important part in helping to support & enhance people’s lives in many ways & they in turn receive satisfaction from the role. Each volunteer can make a difference by visiting someone once a week for an hour. It could be for a chat, cup of tea, game of cards or perhaps a trip out.
