We have now started the weekly menu with food being served Tuesday to Friday 6pm til 9pm and Saturday 12 til 9pm. However if the Senior Citizens would like to reinstate their weekly lunch we will be glad to do so.

    Dear Sir,
A menu in the English tradition for the festivities; and sensibly priced.
I recall enjoying former days in this Little Rose, and its predecessor. Saturdays after home cricket
matches, and Sundays with the quiz teams. One year, 1986 I think, the pub won the BBC Radio
Cambridgeshire inter village quiz competition. A cliff-hanger finish against Burwell.
One can but hope that the Little Rose, under the new team, will prosper.
A thought that may well have been considered is to take a leaf from Barton’s White Horse.
It was very helpful in planning this summer’s visit to England, with my companion, to see that
the White Horse now offered accommodation. Booked online, it provided an excellent first base.
Visiting Cambridge by bus making sense. Wallis’ garage providing car hire for longer trips
    cross country during the visit.
The Little Rose, as I recall, has good parking, and grounds that could take some visitor bedrooms. The kitchen to provide for the visitors. Sensible food at sensible prices. Like Barton, bookings made online through an established website would attract international, particularly European customers. Cambridge being a tourism magnet, should ensure a steady throughput. Alongside Cambridge,
visitors have near at hand, Wimpole Hall, Anglesey Abbey, the zoos at Shepreth and Linton,
RSPB Fowlmere, other wildlife centres too, Duxford airfield. Information online in some major
languages all to the good. Practical use of GCSE and A-level skills available in the village?
With the post office offering banking and foreign exchange in the village there’s a further plus,
and good reason to keep it open.
Of course this is subject to the planning approvals and permissions being given, not to mention
    economics.
These are simply thoughts to add to those no doubt in place to keep the Little Rose blooming.
    Yours sincerely,
    Neville James Cole
