The Royal Observer Corps in Peace and War
by John Shere.Born into an RAF family, John continued his involvement in the RAF during much of his life. He is still active as a Civilian Instructor and Radio Officer. The Haslingfield VillageSociety is pleased to welcome him to speak on the history of the Corps, its role in WWII and in the Cold War build up.
Talks are open to everyone: Society Members and under 16’s free; visitors welcome for a small charge, which includes tea, coffee & biscuits.
