Cambridge Street Pastors
Gillian Overitt of the Cambridge Street Pastors will be speaking at the Methodist Church at 6.30pm on Sunday 13th February. Cambridge Street Pastors are part of a National Christian initiative to help those who come into the City at weekends to enjoy the night-time entertainment. The Street Pastors go out on Fridays and Saturdays between 10pm and 4am to be a support for those who find themselves in difficulties; those who may have had too much to drink, or have become isolated and need some company to a taxi rank or simply want to talk. The meeting is part of the Faith To Live By series of meetings, which will begin with a short time of worship including a talk by Gillian. This will be followed by refreshments and an informal time for questions and discussion. If you would like to find out more, then come along. Everyone is welcome.
