A group of 69 resolute people of all ages (not to forget the three dogs) began the year by joining the Annual New Year’s Day Walk. Read more below.Our Honourable Leaders Michael and Sally Coles lead the way followed by the happily, chatting group, making new friends and greeting old. Monitoring the rear was Clive Blower, our faithful shepherd. At the end a large proportion of walkers joined in for homemade soup and sandwiches at the Village Hall. Eleven of the more gung-ho walkers continued afterward for another walk lead by Mike: good for them. For those not there, join us next year, we missed you. This is a Haslingfield Village Society event that is open to all.
