You are warmly invited to a wine and cheese evening, sponsored by Waitrose, at Haslingfield Primary School on 5 February 2015 at 7.30 p.m. A Waitrose sommelier will talk us through a variety of wines and of course there will be plenty of tasting! A light buffet of cheese, crackers and fruit is also included in the ticket price. Please join us for what will be a great early Valentines evening or a night out with friends.

Tickets available in advance from the school office, or by email to ptfahaslingfield@gmail.com, at £10 each. All proceeds to benefit the school swimming pool which offers pupils weekly swimming lessons and after school swimming clubs during the summer term.

Many of the outdoor play facilities at Haslingfield Primary School are in disrepair, this is of particular concern given the emphasis on outdoor activity in the new Physical Education curriculum. As Government funding for Cambridgeshire schools is notoriously low the PTFA is working with Ms. Peck (Leading Senior Teacher and PE Coordinator) to raise money for a new outdoor play facility called a Play Trail. This will have two components, a traverse wall and a wooden obstacle course. On behalf of the PTFA at Haslingfield Primary School, I plan to hold a sale of nearly-new CVC uniform in July. This sale is primarily intended for current Year 6 pupils who are preparing to start CVC in September 2014. However, all parents/carers are welcome to attend. (If you are not a current parent/carer of a Haslingfield School pupil, please email me at the beginning of July and I can confirm the date and time of the sale).

To make the sale a success, I need uniform!! So, please could any donations be taken to Haslingfield School Office at your own convenience.
