The Haslingfield Village Society recommences on Tuesday, 20th September with another fascinating talk. Barry Stevenson, the man who can tell you the story behind the antiques, presents ‘A Medley of his own Collection’. He has, on other occasions, presented HVS with a commentary on members’ and guests’ objects in his own version of the Antique Road Show, giving great delight to all who heard him. Now he has agreed to let us into the secrets of his own objects
This Society is for everyone; new members are given a warm welcome. If not already a member, come as a visitor to sample for yourself. A small charge is made for visitors; being a member is a bargain with discounts given on activities. The HVS arranges: talks, events in the village, outings both near and far meeting a variety of interests, and donates towards things in the village. Meetings are in Haslingfield Village Centre at 8:00 PM. on the 3rd Tuesday on the month.
Dear HVS,
Histon and Impington Village Society Speaker request.
Do you have anyone in your Society who would be prepared to speak on the history of Haslingfield including a section on the Chivers’ connection?
The Society meets on the last Tuesday of the month at Impington Village College during term time.
Yours faithfully, Eleanor whitehead H&I Village Society History Group.
