8/9 County Councillors Report. District Coun. Report – the Guided Bus is due to come into service on August 7th. Time tables are being prepared. It should take 8 mins from Trumpington
P & R to Addenbrookes and a further 4 mins to the station. A survey has taken place amongst users of the No 75 bus – 17 passengers regularly use the early bus mainly students and workers, showing that a mini bus would be inadequate. 82% of users have no alternative means of transport. The loss of this service would have a substantial detrimental impact. Possible changes to parking regulations at the P & R could result in that becoming a hub for country bus services. A review of sheltered housing is to take place. Another restructuring of staff is taking place at SCDC.
The next Gamlingay Police panel will take place at HaslingfieldVillagehall at 7pm on Thursday 14th July
